Government of Bangladesh is offering a distinctive opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue MBBS degrees by reserving 23 seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges across the country. This initiative includes not only admissions but also scholarships for the completion of the degree program, with Pakistani students benefiting from the same tuition rates as Bangladeshi students. Official Notification:

The Ministry of Health, Bangladesh, has officially announced the admission of foreign students, including Pakistani students, to Government Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2024-025. This year, a total of 221 seats are reserved for foreign students, with 117 seats allocated for SAARC countries, including Pakistan, and 99 seats designated for Non-SAARC countries under the Bangladesh Governments scholarship program.


Admission Opportunities:

In addition to admissions in Government Medical/Dental Colleges, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will entertain applications from foreign students for admission to Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Bangladesh. The comprehensive list of Government and Private Medical Dental Colleges, along with the allocated number of seats, can be accessed on the official website. For Private Medical/Dental Colleges, the maximum number of foreign students is limited to 4596 of their total allocated seats.


Application Process:

Foreign students, including Pakistani candidates, can find the criteria and application procedures. Interested candidates are required to submit online applications exclusively through their official website. It is important to note that no hard copies of the application need to be submitted to Bangladesh foreign missions abroad.


Application Deadline:

The deadline for the submission of online applications for both Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges is set for February 29, 2024. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to this deadline, as no applications will be considered after the specified date. This presents a valuable opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue their medical education in Bangladesh through this scholarship program.
