Marafie Foundation Scholarship Categories & Eligibility 2025–26

• 1. Abshar Scholarship Ph.D., MS/M.Phil:
  • Fields: IT, Natural Science, Hospitality & Tourism, Energy, Climate Change, Psychology, Nutrition, Early Child Development.
  • Conditions: Must be a regular student in an HEC-recognized university with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the latest examination. Ph.D. 2nd and 3rd year students must attach their supervisors progress report. Foreign scholarship recipients are ineligible.
  • Approved Private Institutions Upon Education Committee Recommendation: Aga Khan University, IBA Karachi, FAST-NUST, NUCES FAST, LUMS, COMSATS University, and GIKI.
• 2. General Scholarship BS Programs:
  • Fields: IT, Natural Science, Hospitality & Tourism, Energy, Climate Change, Psychology, Nutrition, Early Child Development.
  • Conditions: Minimum 75% marks in Science subjects or 80% marks in Arts subjects in Intermediate. Monthly family income must not exceed PKR 100,000/-. Self-finance and general private institute students are ineligible except the specified approved private institutions upon committee recommendation.
• 3. Sadat Scholarship Intermediate to Ph.D.:
  • Conditions: Must belong to a Sadat family. Minimum 70% marks in Science subjects or 75% marks in Arts subjects in the latest examination. Monthly family income must not exceed PKR 100,000/-. Self-finance and unapproved private institute students are ineligible.
• 4. Orphans Eytam Scholarship Class 5th to Intermediate:
  • Conditions: Must be a regular student residing in an orphan home/institution. Primary/Middle level 5th to 8th students from Baltistan requiring at least 70% marks in the latest examination. Government school students 9th to 10th require minimum 70% marks. GHQ/approved Cadet College Intermediate level students are eligible. Monthly family income must be less than PKR 30,000/-. Private school students 9th and 10th require at least 80% marks in the latest examination.
