LUAWMS University Closure Notice 2026 Announced for March
Students and staff at Lasbela University of Agriculture Water and Marine Sciences, Lasbela LUAWMS have received an important administrative update as the university has officially issued the LUAWMS University Closure Notice 2026. The notification confirms that academic and administrative activities at the university and its sub-campuses will remain suspended for a specified period. With the announcement of the LUAWMS University Closure Notice 2026, the institution aims to comply with the directives issued by the Government of Balochistan and relevant departments.
According to the official LUAWMS University Closure Notice for March 2026, the campus will remain closed until 23-03-2026, including the Eid holidays. The decision has been taken following instructions from the Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department and the Services & General Administration Department of the Government of Balochistan. During this period, no regular academic or administrative activities will take place at Lasbela University of Agriculture Water and Marine Sciences or its affiliated sub-campuses.
The administration has also issued additional operational guidelines along with the LUAWMS University Closure Notice 2026. Once the university resumes operations, a four-day workweek from Monday to Thursday will be observed, while Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will remain off days. Furthermore, the university will promote online meetings, reduce fuel consumption for official vehicles, and impose restrictions on new vehicle purchases and foreign tours. These steps announced in the LUAWMS University Closure Notice for March 2026 are intended to support national efforts toward resource conservation and administrative efficiency.
