Lahore Board Releases Inter Date Sheet 2026 for 11th & 12th Class

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has officially issued the Inter annual exams schedule for 2026. With the release of the new date sheet, thousands of students studying in colleges affiliated with the board can now organize their final exam preparation accordingly. BISE Lahore Confirms Inter Part-II Exams Dates

According to the official notification issued by the Controller of Exams, Toseef-ur-Rehman, the 12^th class annual exams will begin earlier than the 11^th class exams. The exams timetable has been arranged in both morning and evening shifts to ensure smooth management of papers at all exams centers.

12^th Class Annual Exams to Start on May 20

As per the announced Lahore Board 12th Class Date Sheet 2026, the second-year exams will commence from May 20, 2026. The papers will be conducted for students belonging to different academic sessions, including Science, Humanities, and Commerce groups.

The date sheet includes compulsory subjects such as English, Urdu, and Islamic Studies/Tarjuma-Tul-Quran, along with elective subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, and Civics.

Morning papers will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while selected subjects will be conducted during the evening session from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Board officials have advised candidates to arrive at their exams centers at least one hour before the start of the paper.

Lahore Board Announces 1^st Year Exams From June 15

The board has also confirmed that the first-year annual exams will begin on June 15, 2026. The additional gap between 12^th and 11^th class exams will provide first-year students more time to complete their preparation.

The Lahore Board 11th class Date Sheet 2026 covers compulsory papers along with elective subjects such as Education, Sociology, Philosophy, Persian, Punjabi, and Fine Arts. Students from both old and new academic sessions will follow the same exams structure.

The Lahore Board has also allocated separate dates for language subjects including Arabic, German, and French, while commerce students will appear in papers like Principles of Accounting and Business Mathematics according to the announced schedule.

Practical Exams Schedule Released

After the completion of theory papers, practical exams will start from July 10, 2026. The practical schedule has been divided into multiple groups to manage the large number of students from science and home economics streams.

According to the timetable:

Physics practicals will be conducted from July 10 to July 14.
Chemistry practical exams will take place from July 15 to July 19.
Biology practicals are scheduled from July 20 to July 24.
Computer Science practicals will continue from July 27 to July 31.

Specialized practical exams for medical technology and home economics subjects, including Anatomy, Microbiology, Clothing & Textiles, and Food & Nutrition, will also continue during July and early August.

The board has instructed students to contact their colleges for batch timings, as practical exams will be held in both morning and afternoon sessions.

Students Advised to Download Official Date Sheet

Students can obtain the complete Inter exams schedule from the official website of BISE Lahore. The official PDF contains subject-wise paper dates, exams timings, and instructions regarding exam rules and prohibited items.

Board authorities have also directed exams centers to display printed copies of the datesheet for the convenience of students. Private candidates have been advised to carefully verify their roll number slips and exams center details before the start of exams.

Important Instructions Issued for Candidates

The Lahore Board has issued several important guidelines for students appearing in the annual exams:

Entry for morning papers will close at 8:45 AM.
Entry for evening papers will close at 1:45 PM.
Mobile phones, smartwatches, and unauthorized electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside exams halls.
Students must bring their original roll number slips to gain entry into the exams centers.
On Fridays, evening papers will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM due to prayer timings.

Controller Confirms Completion of Arrangements

Controller of Exams Toseef-ur-Rehman stated that all exams arrangements have been finalized well before time to help students prepare effectively. He added that efforts were made to avoid clashes between subjects of different groups and urged candidates to follow exams rules and cooperate with invigilation staff.

With the release of the official schedule, students across Lahore and affiliated districts can now focus on revision, past papers, and effective time management ahead of the Inter annual exams 2026.
