KPK Announces Summer Learning and Grooming Festival

In a significant effort to foster holistic growth among youth, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP Elementary and Secondary Education Department has introduced an innovative Summer Learning and Grooming Festival. This initiative is specifically designed for students of government school in KPK, offering them a unique blend of academic enrichment and extracurricular engagement during their summer break. By bridging the gap between traditional classroom learning and real-world skills, the festival aims to empower the next generation with essential leadership and creative capabilities.

 

 

The program will be rolled out in phases, beginning with 2,000 students from classes 6 to 12. These participants, hailing from 19 districts—including various southern and merged regions—will be hosted at residential summer camps in scenic locations such as Swat, Mansehra, and Abbottabad. This initiative prioritizes student development by providing access to high-quality training and exposure, particularly for those in underserved areas. Through these residential experiences, the provincial government aims to build student confidence and encourage cultural exchange across the province.

 

 

The festival’s curriculum focuses on a comprehensive approach to education, encompassing leadership training, personality development, teamwork, sports, and creative workshops. According to provincial Minister Arshad Ayub Khan, the program is a vital step toward equipping students with the confidence necessary to excel in an increasingly competitive landscape. Authorities have been directed to maintain strict standards of safety and hospitality to ensure a positive and transformative experience for every participant. By integrating adventure with academic enrichment, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is actively nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society, underscoring its commitment to high-standard extracurricular activities and youth empowerment.
