KPBTE Registration 2025 Guidelines Schedule

KPBTE Registration 2025 Guidelines Schedule

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education KPBTE has released updated registration guidelines for 2025, aimed at all affiliated colleges and institutes. Institutes that are not formally affiliated with the board are ineligible to register students for any technical or commerce courses.

Key Instructions for Institutes:
  • Affiliation Requirement: Only institutes officially affiliated with KPBTE can register students. Institutes must strictly follow the Seating Capacity SC assigned in the affiliation notification. Any over-seating must be accompanied by the corresponding extra seat fee. Over-seating is allowed up to 10% beyond the official limit for regular courses.
  • Online Registration Schedule: Institutes must check the official KPBTE portal each year for the new registration calendar.
  • Submission of Registration Files: Registration files, including the fee challan and student list, must be submitted on time. Late submissions will incur single or double late fees.
  • Student Information Accuracy: Passport-size photographs of students must have a blue background, and female students must appear without a veil. All student names, parent names, and birth dates must match official DMC/TSC certificates to avoid discrepancies.
  • Online Fee Payment: All registration fees must be paid via online challan to KPBTE’s account. Bank drafts, pay orders, or checks are not accepted.
  • Eligibility for Courses:
    • Only students with a Science background in matric are eligible for DAE courses.
    • For D.Com, DBA, and DIT courses, students from all academic groups are eligible.
    • Migration certificates are required for students moving from other provinces for DAE/D.Com/DBA courses. Equalization certificates are mandatory for foreign students.
  • Minimum Academic Requirement: Students with less than 33% marks in matric are ineligible for DAE, D.Com, or DBA admissions.
  • Error Correction: Institutes must verify student lists after online submission. Any corrections in student data must be made before exams commence.
  • Re-Registration for DIT Students: Students transferring from 1-DIT to 2-DIT must submit the re-registration fee within the portal’s open window of one month.

Institutes are encouraged to strictly follow these rules to ensure smooth student registration and avoid complications during examinations. For queries or complaints, institutes can contact KPBTE.
