The education department said that the ‘useless policy’ was reinforced for last 16 years and no students can be failed, whether he performs well or bad in the exams.

It was said that this policy was introduced to realize that the students, who do not pass their annual exams, they feel discouraged and these students are ped out of the schools and this policy got heavy criticism. Various high schools complained that the enrolled students in class six cannot have the ability to write their names but ANP government introduced this policy to increase the literacy rate in the province. The officials said that most of the teachers criticized this policy heavily but they cannot do anything as the education policies are made in the government departments, where the teachers and other stakeholders have no access.  It was forced to the high schools to enroll the students in their schools, who come from the primary schools, without taking their admission or qualification tests. The schools teachers believe that such students are only burden on the schools. The officials said that this policy should be rolled back because this policy was tried and tested for last 16 years and it did not work well and it did not bear good result 2022. The government should also reintroduce the board exams of five and eight classes in order to check the educational standard in the public and private schools.
