Mobile Tower Services Suspension for Anti-Cheating
To combat cheating during the MDCAT exam, the interim provincial government of KP has decided to suspend mobile tower services in the vicinity of the examination centers while the test is in progress.
Collaborative Efforts to Prevent Cheating
The KP Police, in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency FIA, is working diligently to prevent any recurrence of the cheating that marred the previous MDCAT test conducted earlier this year.
Strict Oversight and Security Measures
The Peshawar Police has been entrusted with the responsibility of supervising the printing and distribution of test materials. To bolster security, walk-through gates and closed-circuit television CCTV cameras will be installed at examination centers throughout the province. Additionally, female police officers will be deployed to enhance security measures.
Expanded Examination Centers for Convenience
To facilitate test-takers, authorities have established examination centers in 11 districts across the province, including Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad.
Impartiality Ensured in Staffing
The Khyber Medical University will provide information regarding the duty staff, which notably excludes administrative officials from various departments. This decision aims to maintain impartiality in the examination process.
Background and Retake Date
The decision to retake the MDCAT exam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stems from the discovery of cheating incidents involving Bluetooth devices during the previous test. The retake exam is scheduled for November 26, with stringent measures in place to prevent any form of malpractice.
