Offered Programs and Eligibility Requirements

• Diploma in Family Medicine Peshawar & Abbottabad [PMDC Recognized]: Requires an MBBS degree, valid PMDC registration or home country medical council registration for international applicants, and 12 months of house job completion in a PMDC-recognized hospital.
• Certificate in Family Medicine Peshawar & Abbottabad: Requires MBBS, valid PMDC registration, and a completed 12-month hospital house job.
• Certificate in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety: Open to candidates holding MBBS, BDS, BSN, DPT, or other allied health sciences bachelors degrees.
• PG Certificate in Palliative Care Online: Eligibility includes MBBS, BSN, or relevant allied health sciences bachelors degrees.
• Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus Online: Requires MBBS degree, valid PMDC registration, and 12 months of house job experience.

Step-by-Step Application Process and Guidelines

1. Online Registration: Access the registration portal at https://admissions.kmu.edu.pk to fill out the application details starting July 27, 2026.
2. Deposit Fee: Generate the online bank receipt of Rs. 3,000/- non-refundable, deposit the fee at the designated bank branch, and upload the scanned receipt to the website.
3. Hard Copy Submission: Selected candidates must submit physical application forms alongside original bank payment receipts to the Deputy Director, IFM, 2nd Floor, Institute of Family Medicine, Khyber Medical University, Phase-5, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
