Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Workers Welfare Fund Announces Scholarships 2025
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Workers Welfare Fund is now inviting scholarship applications from eligible students of industrial and mine workers for the academic session 2025–2026. These scholarships are available for students enrolled in various colleges, universities, and technical institutions under the categories listed below.
Categories & Scholarship Rates

A | Matric to Inter Intermediate | Rs. 3,500 |
B | Graduation 2–4 year degree programs in public/private HEC-recognized universities | Rs. 4,500 |
C | Post-Graduation MA/MSc/BS Hons, Engineering, Medical PMC/PEC accredited | Rs. 5,500 |
Eligibility Criteria for Workers
Must meet the definition of a "worker" as per the Industrial Relations Act 2012.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of service.
Must be registered with EOBI or ESSI. Unregistered workers must submit a duly attested affidavit with employer and uni on CBA verification.
Scholarships are available for up to three children of a worker pre- and post-matric.The employing industry/mine must be registered under the relevant labor law.
Industry must contribute either:
2% under WWF Ordinance 1971, or
5% under Workers Participation Act 1968.
No age limit for applicants.
Children of deceased or disabled workers, or workers of WWB/WWF, are eligible if the Death Grant has been claimed or disability certified by an official medical board.
Workers and employees of WWF/WWB are also eligible after 3 years of service.
Key Rules & Regulations
Students must maintain minimum passing grades in all subjects. Failure to pass a class will lead to termination of the scholarship.
Course changes are not allowed unless approved by the Secretary WWF/Chairman WWB.
Course must be completed within the standard time frame; any extension costs will be borne by the student.
Migration to another institution is only allowed in special cases and with official approval.
Students pursuing M.Phil, MS, or PhD must gain admission 2025 on merit to qualify for support.
Approved educational expenses include:
Admission fee
Tuition fee
Transportation
Hostel charges
Registration fee
Library/computer lab fees
Examination fee
Note: All educational expenses will be paid directly to the institution or through reimbursement, subject to the submission of original receipts.
Deadlines
Fall Semester 2025: Last date to apply — 30 November 2025
Spring Semester 2026: Submission window — 01 January to 28 February 2026
Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Required Documents Attested by Grade-17 Officer or above
Admission offer letter from HEC/PMC/PEC recognized institution
Completed scholarship form with factory management & CBA verification
Students photo, CNIC/B-Form, and birth certificate
Workers CNIC and EOBI/ESSI card not expired
Past academic certificates, DMCs/degrees
Original service and salary certificate from employer
Industry/mine registration certificate
WWF Ordinance 2% or WPPF Act 5% contribution certificate
Verified affidavit with CNIC copies of signatories
Reimbursement: Original receipts of paid educational fees
Proof of institutions affiliation with HEC-recognized university

Only forms for Peshawar and nearby districts are accepted at the main office in Hayatabad.
