Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Winter Vacations Schedule for Schools
The KP government has recently released the winter holiday schedule for public and private schools for the year 2024-2025.
On December 16, 2024 the Elementary and Secondary Education Department released a detailed notification of the vacation schedule for the region’s weather conditions as follows:
- Summer Zone Schools Plain Areas: The schools situated in the warm regions shall have a short winter holiday which will be from 22nd December to 31st December, 2024; this will give the students and the staff a total of 10 days.
- Winter Zone Schools Hilly & Snowy Regions: In the snow affected districts with severe cold, the winter vacations will start from 22nd December, 2024 and will continue till 28th February, 2025; this will provide more than two months holiday time.
The notice which has been signed by the Secretary of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department has been sent to education officers, school administrators and commissioners for the purpose of implementation in all the districts.
