IUB Scottish Scholarship Interview Schedule 2026

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has officially announced the interview schedule for the Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme for the 2026–27 academic cycle. Administered in collaboration with the British Council, shortlist verification for registered female candidates enrolled across undergraduate and masters degree programs is scheduled to take place at the main campus.

This official update brings essential relief to shortlisted female students navigating high tuition costs and university living expenses. With interview dates now locked in, candidates must immediately organize their mandatory academic verification files, fee challans, and residence documentation to secure their place before the evaluation panel.

Islamia University of Bahawalpur Directorate Overview and Selection Framework

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Directorate of Financial Assistance operates as the core hub for executing merit and need-based financial aid programs across Southern Punjab. Working closely with international partners like the British Council Pakistan, the financial aid office ensures rigorous scrutiny of applicant financial profiles and academic standings.

Under this operational mandate, the IUB Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Interview Schedule 2026 sets binding timelines for shortlisted candidates. The university committee requires applicants to present physical proof of family income, current semester enrolment status, and campus residence verification at the designated interview venue.

Interview Venue Timetable and Verification Requirements

Shortlisted candidates must follow precise reporting times to avoid disqualification during panel evaluations. Interviews will take place at the Directorate of Financial Assistance office, located at the Syed Tabish Alwari Building, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus.

Students are strictly required to bring four primary original verification documents. These include a valid CNIC copy, current semester paid fee challan, current hostel fee challan, and for non-university boarders, a private hostel registration certificate with recent fee receipts. Sub-campus students must coordinate directly with their respective Assistant Registrar office for local interview arrangements.

Guidelines for British Council Scottish Scholarship Candidates

To maintain transparent selection standards, the university financial aid board has outlined mandatory conduct rules for all interview attendees. Candidates must report at least thirty minutes prior to their designated morning slot to complete registration checks.

Failure to produce original paid challans or authentic hostel verification receipts will result in immediate deferral. Panel members will evaluate academic record consistency, verified monthly household income, and candidate statements regarding career goals in STEM and social science disciplines.
