Islamabad Schools Get New Ramadan Timings for 2026
The Federal Directorate of Education FDE has officially released a revised timetable for all schools and colleges under its jurisdiction in the capital. According to the directive issued on February 18, 2026, these changes are designed to accommodate students and staff during the holy month of Ramadan. The students can get the fresh updates of Islamabad Schools Get New Ramadan Timings for 2026.
FDE Outlines Adjusted Operating Hours
The specific hours for various institutions are detailed below:
Single-Shift Schools & Ex-F.G. Colleges
- Monday to Thursday: Classes will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 12:30 pm.
- Friday: The day starts at 8:00 am and ends slightly earlier at 12:00 pm.
Double-Shift Institutions
- Morning Session: Operates from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Evening Session: * Monday to Thursday: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
- Friday: 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The Director General has instructed all Area Education Officers to ensure these new timings are strictly followed across all institutions.
