Islamabad Schools and Colleges New Timings
Federal Directorate of Education has made the changes in the timings for all educational institutes being located in Islamabads capital territory. The students, parents and teachers will note Islamabad Schools and Colleges New Timings, which will be effective from 11-01-2023. The schools and colleges, which have a single shift, they will operate from 08:30 am to 02:30 pm on Monday to Thursday and they will close on Fridays at 12:30 pm.
For single shift schools: 08:30 am to 02:30 pm Mon-Thu
08:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday
For double shift schools:
Morning shift: 08:00 am to 01:30 pm Mon-Thu
08:00 am to 12:30 pm Friday
Second Shift: 01:30 pm to 07:00 pm Mon-Thu
02:30 pm to 07:00 pm Friday
08:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday
For double shift schools:
Morning shift: 08:00 am to 01:30 pm Mon-Thu
08:00 am to 12:30 pm Friday
Second Shift: 01:30 pm to 07:00 pm Mon-Thu
02:30 pm to 07:00 pm Friday
For Pre-I Montessori/prep 08:30 am to 12:30 pm Mon-Fri
The schools and colleges, which have double shifts, they will start the morning shift from 08:00 am to 01:30 pm on Monday to Thursday and on Fridays, schools will be closed at 12:30 pm. The evening shifts in the double-shift schools will be started from 01:30 pm to 07:00 pm on Monday to Thursday and they will start their classes on Friday from 02:30 pm. These timings will also apply to all private educational institutes, which are registered with Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority PEIRA Islamabad.
