Introduction of AI Education in Primary Schools
The government has initiated a plan to teach artificial intelligence AI to school students. Initially, this project will be rolled out in government schools located in Islamabad and Lahore. The students can check the detailed updates of the Introduction of AI Education in Primary Schools.
New AI and IT Curriculum for Primary Schools
The Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has developed a new curriculum for Information Communication Technology ICT and Artificial Intelligence. This curriculum, designed for students from grades 1 to 5 in the capital, aims to equip them with essential IT and AI skills, laying a solid foundation for future technological advancements. This initiative is expected to open promising career opportunities in technology and AI fields.
AI Education Expansion to Lahore
The project will also commence in Lahore, Punjab. The first AI lab will be established at Government Kinnaird Girls High School, Empress Road. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is set to inaugurate the AI lab next week. Following the successful implementation of the AI course, similar labs will be established in schools across other districts, including Multan, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
