IIU Releases Online Classes Notice for March 2026
The International Islamic University, Islamabad IIU has officially announced its IIU Online Classes Notice 2026, outlining the shift of all academic activities to online mode. According to the IIU Online Classes Notice for March 2026, online classes will commence from 11 March 2026 and continue until 31 March 2026, following the IIU Islamabad standard timetable for five days a week.
The notice issued by the Office of the Director Academics & Examinations emphasizes that students must adhere to the scheduled online lectures and remain engaged in their coursework. The IIU Online Classes Notice 2026 also provides guidance on the payment of Spring 2026 semester fees, which must be submitted by 18 March 2026 at any designated bank branch across Pakistan.
In addition to academic arrangements, the IIU Online Classes Notice 2026 introduces austerity measures directed by the Government of Pakistan. These include a four-day workweek for administrative staff, grounding of 60% of official vehicles, a ban on new vehicle and non-IT durable purchases, and conducting meetings virtually wherever possible. These measures aim to ensure smooth academic continuity while optimizing resources during the implementation of online classes.
