IIU Islamabad to Remain Closed on May 9 2025 for Security
The International Islamic University IIU, Islamabad, has issued an important update via the Directorate of Human Resource Management & Development. According to Notification No.120-HCG/2025, dated 08-05-2025, the university and its constituent units within the Islamabad Capital Territory will remain closed on May 9, 2025 Friday due to the prevailing security situation.
This closure, affecting all IIU campuses in Islamabad, was approved by the President, IIU, as confirmed by Saqib Rashid, Deputy Director HRM. The announcement ensures the safety of students, faculty, and staff amidst the current circumstances.
