IBA Karachi Students Not Miss Class Even If They have Corona

IBA Karachi has informed their students through email that they are not allowed to miss the class, even if they are affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The students and the public has criticized this notification. All of the educational institutes are going to reopen on 15 September all over the country after the lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic in the country and they are instructed to follow the strict standard operating procedure. The university has sent the email to the students sharing the new guidelines of COVID-19 and the decision of IBA shows that the students will not get extra leaves to the affected students. The email states clearly that no extra leave will be given to the Coronavirus affected students and at the same time, they are advised that the students should avoid coming to campus and isolate, if they are found any symptoms of the virus. According to the attendance policy of IBA Karachi, the students cannot miss more than five classes of each course and there are some of the courses, which allow maximum two leaves. The students, who do not adhere the rules, they will be given 'F' grade and it shows that the student is failed in the course.
