Honhaar Scholarship 2025 for BS Students
The Honhaar Scholarship Program 2025 has been officially launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. This merit-based scholarship aims to support 20,000 students annually across 68 different academic disciplines, empowering young minds to pursue higher education without financial hurdles.
What is the Honhaar Scholarship?
The Punjab Higher Education Commission PHEC is offering this prestigious merit-based scholarship to students enrolled in 50 public universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges. Additionally, top private institutions, including LUMS, FAST, NUST, COMSATS, and GIKI, are also part of this initiative.

✅ Total Scholarships: 1,20,000 students over 4 years
✅ Funding Amount: Rs. 130 billion allocated over 8 years
✅ Scholarship Type: Merit-based, fully funded
✅ Eligible Fields: All major disciplines, including Engineering, IT, Medical, and Social Sciences

Eligibility Criteria
✔ Must hold Punjab domicile
✔ Age below 22 years at the time of application
✔ Family income less than Rs. 300,000 per month Affidavit required
✔ Enrolled in eligible degree programs for Fall 2024 intake
✔ Minimum Academic Score Requirements:
Medical & Top Private Universities: 80%
Public Universities: 75% Sciences, 70% Arts & Social Sciences
Graduate Colleges: 65% Sciences, 60% Arts & Social Sciences
Graduate Colleges: 65% Sciences, 60% Arts & Social Sciences
