High Performance Laptops Phase II 2026 Launched at UMT
Students at University of Management and Technology UMT have received exciting news as the university announces High Performance Laptops Phase II for 2026 under the latest CM Laptop Scheme Punjab initiative. The announcement has sparked strong interest among BS students eager to benefit from the government-backed laptop scheme 2026, designed to promote digital learning and academic excellence across Punjab.
According to the official eligibility criteria, students must have a domicile from any district of Punjab and must be enrolled in the 1st or 2nd semester of a BS program. For BS programs, applicants are required to have a minimum of 65% marks in Intermediate to qualify under the CM laptop eligibility criteria. Importantly, all blind students enrolled in various universities and colleges will be awarded the CM laptop irrespective of their Intermediate marks, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to technology. However, students who have already received a device under any previous laptop scheme are not eligible for this phase.
The launch of High Performance Laptops Phase II reflects the commitment to strengthening digital infrastructure in higher education and supporting talented youth in Punjab. By equipping students with advanced technology, UMT continues to encourage innovation, research, and smart learning practices.
