HED Offering MS MPhil Programs in Colleges

Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab is going to initiate the MS and MPhil programs in the government colleges. The HED will offer the MS and MPhil programs in the colleges in the Arts and Science subjects and the department has selected 10 colleges of Lahore. The HED department has selected the colleges for the MS MPhil programs are included with Dayal Singh College, APWA College, MAO College, Islamia College Civil Lines, Science Collge Wahdat Road and Postgraduate College for Women Wahdat Road and Cooper Road. There are various professors, who have completed their PhD degrees and they have capability to teach the students in the higher classes. MPhil Persian and Botany programs are offered in Cooper Road college and MPhil English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, and MS Chemistry programs are taught in Civil Lines College. It has been announced by the department that the MS admissions will be started in January. The HED has taken this step to improve the higher education in the colleges and these courses are offered at the most economical rate of fee and the students have to pay the fee of Rs.15000/- per semester.
