HEC Seeks PERIDOT Research Program Proposals

Higher Education Commission invited the research proposals for PERIDOT research program. HEC invites the faculty members serving in public and private universities to apply for this program as PERIDOT is offered to them. They should know that PERIDOT is Franco-Pakistani Hubert Curien Partnership program and it gives the opportunities to Pakistani and French researchers to carry out their research activities collectively. HEC accorded the implementation of this program in Pakistan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Ministry of Higher Education and Research will deal with it in France. The main purpose of the initiating this research program is to develop cooperation scientifically and technologically and the researchers can get better opportunities in both countries. The candidates should note that the expected number of grants will be up to 5 years for the researchers and the maximum duration of this program will be 03 years. The candidates hailing from public or private universities can apply in Health, Human & Social Sciences and Environmental Sciences / Climate Change.

The candidates should note the eligibility criteria and they must have obtained full time faculty position at public or private university. The candidates must have PhD degree in relevant discipline and the participating universities of Pakistan and France will support this project. The program will have the mobility facilities to research scholars to and from Pakistan. The institute, which will host this program, they should ensure that needed capacities will manage visiting fellows.

The candidates will submit the application forms online through HEC online portal ad the applicants required to upload scanned copies of the required documents. The investigator can send the research project for purpose of funding. The interesting candidates are asked to submit their application forms for PERIDOT Research program by the closing date of 07-12-2020.
