HEC Re-Opens Universities for Annual Exams after 31 May

Higher Education Commission is thinking over the issue to re-open the universities all over the country so that they can manage the process of the annual exams of different classes despite the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. HEC Re-Opens Universities for Annual Exams after 31 May.

The chairman of HEC spoke to the news channel and said that HEC can approach to the federal government to implement the decision of managing the exams if the COVID-19 situation is improved at the end of May. If the present situation of Coronavirus is persisted in the country, then the exams could be postponed to 15 July or the universities can conduct the exams online. The online exams will be managed on the basis of the research papers, assignments and term papers.

The chairman of HEC has called the virtual meeting of the CVs of all universities of the country to discuss the options of holding the exams of the different classes before assessing to the federal government. The federal minister for Education announced to cancel the board exams in Pakistan while the Coronavirus pandemic is increasing consistently as the Federal Minister for Education announced that all educational institutes including schools, colleges and universities will remain close till 15 July.
