HEC National Scholarships 2023 for MS & PhD Studies Top Talent Program

Higher Education Commission HEC is set to launch 75 national scholarship programs catering to outstanding Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir students pursuing MS and PhD levels of education. For detailed updates on the HEC National Scholarships 2023 for MS & PhD Studies Top Talent Program for Pakistani students, interested candidates are encouraged to stay informed. Eligible and talented students are invited to submit their scholarship applications by the final deadline of March 21, 2024.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a Pakistani or AJK national.

Should have confirmed or unconditional admission to any of the top 25 globally ranked universities.

For MS scholarship: Candidates must hold a BS, BE, or equivalent degree in the respective program.

For PhD scholarship: Candidates must possess an MS, ME, MPhil, or equivalent degree in the relevant field of study.

Maximum of one 2nd division allowed throughout the academic career to the final degree.

Minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 in the semester system, or 1st division in the annual system.

Maximum age on the closing date:

40 years for full-time regular faculty members of public sector universities or degree-awarding institutes/colleges and employees of public sector organizations.

35 years for all other programs.

Should not be availing any other scholarship.

Application Process:

a.         Candidates are required to submit their application forms online through the HEC e-portal.

b.         An application processing fee of Rs.700/- must be paid at HBL Shalimar Recording Company Branch, Islamabad.

c.         Printed copies of the online application forms need not be sent; only selected candidates will be required to provide printed copies along with relevant documents.

Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow the provided instructions while completing the scholarship application forms. Additionally, the processing fee should be paid, and all necessary documents must be provided to be eligible for the scholarship.

As the winter season is started all over the country, the government of Sindh announced the coming Sindh Educational Institutes Winter Vacation 2023. According to the decision of the respective department, the schools will remain closed wef 22-12-2023 to 31-12-2023. The education department of Sindh has informed all respective department about the closing of the educational institutes during the winter break.
