HEC Law GAT 2023 Schedule Eligibility & Registration

Higher Education Commission HEC has announced the schedule for the LAW Graduate Assessment Test LAW GAT 2023. The LAW GAT test is a mandatory requirement for LLB graduates seeking Bar Council Registration. Eligibility Criteria for HEC Law GAT 2023:

To be eligible to apply for the HEC Law GAT 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Possess a Bachelors degree in Law or its equivalent from a university recognized by HEC and PBC.

Test Centers for HEC Law GAT:

The LAW GAT test will be conducted at the following centers:

• Islamabad

• Lahore

• Karachi

• Sukkur

• Abbottabad

• Quetta

• Multan

• Hyderabad

• Turbat

• Bahawalpur

• Peshawar

• Muzaffarabad

• Faisalabad

• Gilgit

Applicants can select any test center from the available list during the application process.

A minimum of 100 applicants must choose a particular center for the test to be conducted there.

Once a test center is selected during registration, it cannot be changed.

Registration Process for HEC Law GAT 2023:

To register for the HEC Law GAT 2023, candidates should follow these steps:

• Visit the following link for online registration.

• Complete your profile in the "My Profile" section and submit your application using the "Law GAT Test" link on the left-hand sidebar of the online portal.

• Only submitted applications will be considered for the LAW-GAT test; applications in save or incomplete mode will not be entertained.

Pay the test fee of Rs. 3000/- through online/ATM deposit into Account No. O 1127900567403, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Bank: Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 0112. Note that bank drafts or pay orders will not be accepted.

Upload the paid and scanned challan form, duly stamped by any HBL Branch, while completing the application form on the ETC online registration portal.

Additional Information:

A minimum score of 50% is required to pass the Law Graduate Assessment Test Law-GAT.

Applicants must fulfill any other criteria specified by the Rules and Regulations of the Pakistan Bar Council PBC.

Candidates have a maximum of three chances to clear the Law-GAT test, as HEC conducts the test three times a year.
