The Higher Education Commission has announced the schedule for the LAW-GAT test, also known as the Law Graduate Assessment Test, for the year 2023. This test is mandatory for LLB graduates who wish to pursue Bar Council Registration. The LAW-GAT test is scheduled to take place on August 13, 2023. Registration Process for HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test LAW-GAT 2023:

Online applications can be submitted through the HEC website. It is important to note that HEC LAW-GAT is a prerequisite for LLB graduates who wish to practice law and enter the legal profession.


Test Details and Requirements:

The LAW-GAT test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions MCQs. Once candidates have completed the registration process through HECs online platform, they can download their Roll Number Slip from the official website of HEC one week before the test date. Registered applicants will receive an email or SMS notification containing details about the test date, time, and venue. Candidates must provide a valid email address and mobile number when filling out the online application form. To enter the Test Centre, candidates will need to bring a printed copy of the Roll Number Slip along with their original CNIC.

Test Fee and Payment Process: 
The test fee for LAW-GAT is Rs. 3000/-, and it can be paid through participating banks, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or Upaisa using the 1Link 1Bill invoice payment service. After depositing the fee, candidates must verify the online payment on the ETC Dashboard. It is important to note that the test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates should resolve any queries or complaints before the closure of the web registration portal.

Additional Information and Conditions: 
To pass the Law Graduate Assessment Test LAW-GAT, candidates must obtain a minimum score of 50%. Applicants must also comply with any additional criteria outlined in the Rules and Regulations of PBC Pakistan Bar Council.
