HEC Launches PM 100 Thousand Laptop Scheme

Higher Education Commission is going to start the laptop scheme for the issue of laptops to the students, who are enrolled in the public sector universities and colleges. The laptops will be distributed among the students on the merit basis. The students can get the information regarding PM 100 Thousand Laptop Scheme Initiated by HEC. 

The laptops will help the students to learn the new skills and they can become expert in their relevant department and they not only find new jobs but also initiate their own startups so that they can become the job providers to the new graduates. The HEC invites the bids from the bidders, who should be original equipment manufacturers OEMs with local partner or authorized laptop distributor / Tier 1 partner of OEM or OEM itself. The bidders should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and on active taxpayers list of FBR.

The bidders need to check the bidding documents, with the terms and conditions, which are provided at the HEC website in the hard form from HEC Islamabad from Monday to Friday during the working hours from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm. The price of the bidding documents is Rs.10,000/- and they deposit it online in HBL H-9 Islamabad. The interested bidders will also get the information regarding the bidding and they can forward them so that they can participate in bidding of the documents.
