HEC Gives Approval for Two New MS Programs at SBBU
The Higher Education Commission HEC in Islamabad has granted approval to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University SBBU to introduce a new Master of Science in Computer Science MS Computer Science program. The students can get the latest updates of HEC Gives Approval for Two New MS Programs at SBBU.
New Postgraduate Programs to Boost Academic Opportunities
This approval represents another important achievement for the university under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah, who has been actively working to improve academic standards and promote research at the institution.
The Department of Computer Science at the university has been functioning successfully for several years, and with HEC’s formal approval, it will now begin offering the new postgraduate degree program.
Alongside this development, the university has also received permission to launch a Master of Science in English Linguistics MS English Linguistics program through its Department of English. These newly approved programs are expected to strengthen both academic learning and research activities at the university.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Madad Ali Shah stated that the university aims to deliver high-quality higher education and encourage research while providing students with opportunities that match modern academic and professional demands.
He further explained that the addition of these postgraduate programs will open new pathways for students interested in advanced studies and research. According to him, these initiatives will also contribute to raising the overall standard of higher education in the region.
The Vice Chancellor also expressed confidence that both faculty members and students will collaborate effectively to achieve excellence in knowledge, research, and innovation.
He emphasized that such academic initiatives will help Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University strengthen its position among the prominent universities in the country.
