HEC Extends PIDCL Test 2026 Application Deadline

The Higher Education Commission HEC has officially reopened its Education Testing Council portal, extending the registration deadline for the PIDCL Test 2026 until Sunday, November 1. This vital update gives prospective candidates extra time to apply for 61 contractual positions advertised across professional and administrative domains in Islamabad and Karachi. Eligible job seekers must submit their forms through the official online system before access closes again.

This relief measure directly addresses widespread candidate requests following the initial October closing window. For hundreds of qualified professionals competing for public-sector career opportunities, this schedule revision removes immediate submission stress. Navigating online portal technicalities often takes time, and this extension ensures candidates can properly upload credentials, complete fee verification, and secure their applications without missing out.

HEC ETC Registration Portal 2026 Process and Payment Guidelines

Applying for vacancies under Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited requires strict adherence to official testing procedures. Candidates must access the official portal online to complete their user registration. The application workflow involves selecting the preferred position, providing personal details, entering academic records, and uploading relevant employment experience documents.

Applicants are required to generate a 1Link consumer number to deposit the mandatory test processing fee of Rs. 2,000. Payment can be made via mobile banking apps, ATMs, or over-the-counter banking channels. Once paid, applicants must complete the payment verification step on their dashboard to confirm submission. Hand-written, emailed, or postal applications will not be accepted by the testing authority under any circumstances.

Impact of Extended Application Window on Candidates Across Pakistan

Reopening the portal levels the playing field for qualified applicants across all provinces. PIDCL serves as a key federal public-sector entity, making these job openings highly sought after by engineers, IT experts, legal advisors, and administrative staff. The extra grace period allows applicants to gather valid experience certificates, obtain required NOCs from existing government departments, and verify professional registrations like PEC or PCATP prior to submission.

Candidates who previously experienced portal timeouts or payment receipt delays now have a clear window to complete their filings. Official guidance strongly advises against waiting until the final hours on November 1 to avoid potential server traffic bottlenecks.

When will the HEC PIDCL test date sheet 2026 be released?

The Higher Education Commission will issue the official screening test date and roll number slips shortly after the extended registration window closes on November 1, 2026. Registered candidates will receive notification alerts via SMS and email.
