HEC Commonwealth Scholarships 2024
Applications are now open for the HEC Commonwealth Scholarships for Masters and Ph.D. programs in the UK. These prestigious scholarships, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office FCDO, aim to provide higher education opportunities to individuals from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries, including Pakistan, who may not otherwise afford to study in the UK.
For the 2024 session, 26 nominations are available for Masters programs and 30 nominations for Ph.D. programs. The HEC Commonwealth Scholarship offers a range of benefits, including a monthly stipend of £1,347 around PKR 521,469, return air tickets, allowances for children, spouse, and study-related expenses. The application deadline for both the HEC and Commonwealth portals is October 15, 2024.
Benefits of the HEC Commonwealth Scholarships:
- Stipend: £1,347 per month for Masters students, or £1,652 for those studying in London. Ph.D. students receive £1,236 per month, or £1,516 in London.
- Full tuition fees.
- Two-way air tickets.
- Warm clothing allowance if applicable.
- Study tour and fieldwork expenses.
- Family allowances for spouses and children.

- Be Pakistani/AJK nationals.
- Hold a first-class degree in a relevant field.
- Have a potential supervisor from a UK university.
- Submit two references online.
- Obtain 60/100 in the HEC Aptitude Test HAT.
Candidates must submit applications on both the Commonwealth and HEC portals. Applications without both submissions will be disqualified. Make sure to complete the process by October 15, 2024, to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity!
