HEC BS New Curriculum to Switch From One Degree to Another

Higher Education Commission has developed the new curriculum for the undergraduate programs, which are offered in the universities. HEC has developed this new curriculum keeping in view the modern requirements and technological advancement. The HEC will implement this new curriculum in the universities from the next year and now HEC is working to plan to revise the undergraduate curriculum for last 18 months. HEC works hard to prepare the curriculum and HEC has completed the consultation with 1000 stakeholders of about 143 universities and it was also demanded to include the Social Sciences subjects and in the early semesters, it is compulsory for the students to complete most important fields of humanities including Natural Sciences, Quantitative Reasoning, Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, General Education Courses, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies and Expository writing.

The students will take the required institutional courses to include the major subjects and the students will have the facility to do the graduation in one major like one or two minors with one major or double major. The students will do the internship and they will choose the additional skills like business development and internship. The framework will apply to the undergraduate degrees.
