HEC Abolishes MA/MSc 2 Years Degree in Pakistan

Islamabad, Higher Education Commission has made the announcement to finish the two years master degree programs in the country. HEC made it clear that the registration of 2 years MA/MSc will not be verified after 03-12-2020. According to the available documents, the two year postgraduate degree will be finished from 2021. The two years degree of master degree will not be acknowledged after 31 December 2020 and the students can get admission in autumn semester 2020 last time and after that the admission in 2 years postgraduate programs will not be allowed to the students. Now the heads of the educational institutes will be informed that they ensure the implementation of this decision and inform the students through all sources including their own websites and the degrees of two years will not be verified after 31 December 2020.
