Govt Introduces Digital Skills Training Initiative for Youth Trainers
The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme PMYP has officially launched the Digital Skills Training of Trainers initiative aimed at developing young professionals’ expertise in modern and emerging technologies. PM’s Youth Programme Launches Training of Trainers in Emerging Technologies
During the first phase, 200 selected trainers will undergo online training in key digital fields such as artificial intelligence AI, e-commerce, digital marketing, and data analytics.
At the launch event, PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed stated that this program embodies the Prime Minister’s vision of building a “Digital Pakistan” by empowering the country’s youth with globally competitive technological skills.
The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC, Uni Services International, and ITMC China. Upon successful completion, participants will receive joint certifications from both Pakistani and Chinese institutions.
The program’s ultimate goal is to create a network of certified trainers who will later impart these advanced digital skills to thousands of young learners across the country, promoting innovation, employability, and digital literacy at a national level.
