Govt Implements Primary Single National Curriculum

The government is going to prepare the single national curriculum at primary level and the curriculum of the primary class has been prepared. The government has got prepared the textbooks to meet the educational requirements of the students. Federal Education Minister and council of national curriculum said that the SNC will be introduced from the coming academic year and the curriculum will be implemented in various phases. In the beginning, the syllabus will be introduced for primary class students from prep to 5th class for academic session 2021. The government will introduce the syllabus from 6th to 8th classes in 2022 and during the final phase, the single national curriculum will be introduced from 9th to 12th classes and all of the books except English and Mathematics will be published in Urdu. Sindh has shown its reservations against federal ministry decision to implement single national curriculum and the education minister of Sindh that they will not adopt SNC and the syllabus of all classes in Sindh is already updated to meet the current requirements. The education minister said that equal opportunities will be offered to the students and the government will introduce the unified syllabus at the national level. The government will follow the decision and SNC has been prepared by complying with international standards.
