Googles Scholarship Program 2024 for Women in CS
Google, the leading internet giant, is proud to offer scholarship opportunities specifically designed for women pursuing degrees in computer science. The aim of the Generation Google Scholarship is to support students with a strong desire to excel in technology and to lead in their field. This initiative is particularly beneficial for female Pakistani students enrolled in computer science programs at accredited universities. Criteria for the Women in CS Google Scholarship
The selection for the Generation Google Scholarship for Women in computer science is based on several key factors. Qualification Requirements for the Google Scholarship
To be eligible for the Generation Google Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Identify as female
Be enrolled full-time as a 1st or 2nd-year undergraduate student at an accredited university in one of the specified Asia Pacific countries/regions, including:
- India
- Taiwan
- Southeast Asia+ Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam
- Be pursuing a degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
- Show a strong academic background
Demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology
Application Process for the Google Scholarship
Interested candidates can apply for the Generation Google Scholarship by completing an online application form. The application must include:
- Personal Information
- Resume/CV
- Academic transcripts
- Answers to two essay questions details provided below
Participation in the Google Online Challenge an invitation will be sent within 5-7 days after the application deadline
- Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on the strength of their essays and application materials in comparison to the entire pool of applicants or those in the same academic year.
Its important to note that the Google Online Challenge is used as an additional consideration in the holistic review of your application.
