Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem Announces 100 Free Laptops for Students

In a generous gesture of gratitude and support, Olympian Arshad Nadeem, who recently brought home a gold medal for Pakistan after 40 years at the Paris Olympics, has announced he will distribute 100 free laptops to students in Karachi. This announcement came during a press conference held in Karachi, where Nadeem was joined by Sindh’s top officials, including the governors of Sindh.

Arshad Nadeem expressed his profound gratitude to the people of Karachi and the Sindh province, acknowledging their crucial role in his success. He credited his achievement to the collective prayers and hard work, highlighting the support he received from figures like the Additional IG Police, Chief Minister Sindh, and Mayor Karachi. Nadeem mentioned that the respect and encouragement from these leaders, along with the people of Karachi, were significant contributors to his success.

In addition to his announcement, Nadeem praised Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz for visiting his village and honoring him, reflecting his widespread appreciation across Pakistan. His gesture of donating laptops underscores his commitment to supporting education and giving back to the community that celebrated his victory.

During the press conference, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri noted that the public’s enthusiasm to see their national hero at the Governor House was a testament to Nadeem’s inspirational impact. Tesuri also commended the media for their role in covering the Olympian’s achievements. Previously, Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri had presented Nadeem with Rs 20 lakh and an iPhone 15, further acknowledging his outstanding performance at the 2024 Olympics.
