GMHCP Admissions Open for HRPM Course with Full Scholarships 2024

The Global Mental Health and Cultural Psychiatry Group in collaboration with the Ishrat Husain Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning PILL and Noor Education & Healthcare Foundation, is excited to announce the opening of admissions for their fully funded Health Research Project Management course for the 2024-25 session. This initiative represents a unique opportunity for individuals committed to advancing their expertise in health research and project management.

Course Overview:

The HRPM course, offered annually in September and March, is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to manage complex health research projects effectively. This course is particularly pertinent given the growing global focus on health challenges and research. This year, admissions are open until September 2, 2024, with a selection process involving interviews conducted on September 9, 2024. The final list of selected candidates will be announced on September 13, 2024, with classes scheduled to commence on September 19, 2024.

Eligibility and Selection:

Applicants must have at least a graduate degree to be eligible for this fully funded course. The selection process is rigorous and will be conducted by an interview committee, which will assess candidates based on their academic background and relevant experience. The Significance of the HRPM Course:

The HRPM course is an integral part of the GMHCP Research Groups efforts, particularly in relation to their NIHR-Funded project, "Moving on ABC+ After Breast Cancer." This project combines cognitive behavioral therapy CBT with educational strategies to address global issues related to breast cancer. Given that breast cancer affects approximately 11 million people annually and results in 670,000 deaths worldwide, this research initiative represents a critical effort in improving patient outcomes and advancing the understanding of breast cancer management.
