GIKI Graduate & Assistantship Scholarship Schemes 2023

Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology has declared their multiple scholarship schemes for the postgraduate students. The students can avail these scholarships in MS and PhD programs, which are offered with fully funded scholarships and monthly stipend of PKR 75000/- per month. The institute also offers the free hostel accommodation under this program. The candidates can get this GIK Graduate & Assistantship Scholarship Schemes 2023.

The institute offers the MS and PhD scholarships and graduate assistantships in all disciplines on the merit and the institute will prepare this merit list as per the performance of the students in the entry test and interview. This scholarship will cover the full tuition fee, free hostel accommodation, and monthly stipend. The students will have to pay only the admission fee non-refundable and the security deposit refundable at the time of applying for admission.

The candidates can submit their application forms for GIK Graduate Assistantship and Scholarship by the final date of 12-12-2022. The institute will manage the admission test on 20-12-2022 and the graduate assistants will assist the faculty to teach and do the research activities and sign the service bond. The candidates will note the amount of the scholarship with the eligibility criteria as under:
i. Graduate Assistantship Scheme GA-1

Full Tuition Fee waiver
PKR: 20,000/- monthly stipend
Free hostel accommodation

Eligibility Criteria:

SSC & HSSC or Equivalent: Minimum 60% marks
BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks

ii. Graduate Assistantship Scheme GA-2

Full Tuition Fee waiver
PKR: 20,000/- monthly stipend
Free Hostel accommodation

Eligibility Criteria:

SSC & HSSC or Equivalent : Minimum 60% marks
BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks
2-year service as Lab Engineer/TA at GIK Institute with annual performance as very good or better.

iii. Partial Scholarship Scheme PSS

Partial Tuition Fee waiver Annual Tuition Fee under PSS is Rs. 150,000/-
Free bachelor accommodation

Eligibility Criteria:

SSC & HSSC or Equivalent : Minimum 60% marks
BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.00 or 60% marks

Note: The graduate assistants shall be required to assist faculty in teaching and research activities and to sign a service bond with Institute at the time of getting admission in this institute.
