Government College University GCU Hyderabad has introduced a valuable opportunity for young individuals belonging to economically disadvantaged backgrounds through the launch of the two-year English Empowerment Scholarship Initiative. GCU Hyderabad In collaboration with the United States US Embassy in Islamabad, this educational endeavor aims to uplift underprivileged youth by enhancing their proficiency in the English language.
The initiative is open to both male and female candidates aged 13 to 16, offering them a unique platform to cultivate language skills that are crucial for their academic and personal advancement.
Courses under this program are scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., ensuring flexibility for students with diverse schedules.
Prospective applicants have until the 23rd of August to submit their applications, and interviews for the selection process are scheduled for the 28th of August.
The English Empowerment Scholarship Initiative equips participants with English language capabilities that can potentially lead to improved job opportunities and educational prospects.
Moreover, participants gain the potential to compete for and engage in future exchange programs and academic pursuits in the United States. Since its establishment in 2004, the Program has engaged around 150,000 students from over 80 countries worldwide.
