Government College University Lahore GCU proudly celebrates 162 years of academic excellence. The university is now inviting applications for admissions to various BS 4-Year programs for Phase-II 1st Semester and 5th Semester programs for the Fall 2025 session.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can apply online via the official portal: www.gcuonline.pk. The application processing fee is Rs. 1000/- per subject, payable through challan at any UBL branch nationwide mobile app payments are not accepted.

Last date to apply: August 8, 2025.

100% fee scholarship plus hostel accommodation is available for BISE position holders Top-3 Overall positions.

5th Semester Admissions Without Entry Test

Available at both campuses in various disciplines such as Botany, Business Accounting & Finance, Chemistry, Commerce, Environmental Science, Electronics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Gender & Climate Change, Microbiology, Persian, Physics, Public Policy, Political Science, Philosophy, Punjabi, Sociology, Translation Studies, Urdu, Zoology, Mathematics, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Grade XI Intermediate Part-I for Phase-II admissions.

For 5th Semester admissions, candidates must hold a minimum CGPA of 2.30/4.00 in the Associate Degree Program Session 2023-2025. Those awaiting final results may also apply, but must complete the program without any failing grades.

Specific quotas exist for disabled applicants 2% and minorities 2%, who are exempted from the entrance test.

Admission Assessment for Regular BS Programs 1st Semester

Admission will be based on an Entrance Test 30%, Interview 20%, Intermediate/Diploma marks 40%, and Matric/O-Level marks 10%.

Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in both the test and interview to qualify.

Entrance tests will be held on August 11 and 12, 2025, at Main Campus Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.
