Fully Funded HEC PhD Scholarships in USA Top 100 Universities
The Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan has opened applications for fully funded PhD scholarships in the United States under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project. This prestigious initiative aims to provide Pakistani scholars with the opportunity to study at Top 100 QS World-Ranked U.S. Universities. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply before the approaching deadline of April 30, 2026.
Scholarship Categories and Benefits
The program is divided into two primary categories based on the global ranking of the host institution:
- Top 50 Universities: Scholars selected for these institutions will receive comprehensive coverage, including full tuition, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.
- Rank 51–100 Universities: For these institutions, the scholarship provides up to USD 12,000 per year for tuition, along with a stipend and health insurance coverage.
Eligibility and Application Process
The project is designed to bridge the gap in high-level research and academic collaboration between the two nations. To be eligible, applicants must target programs at specified top-tier universities that align with the Knowledge Corridors goals. All applications must be submitted through the official HEC scholarship portal.
Important Deadline
The HEC has set a final deadline of April 30, 2026, for the submission of online applications. Prospective PhD students should ensure they have their academic credentials and research proposals ready well in advance. Late submissions will not be entertained by the commission.
