Fulbright Graduate Scholarships 2027 Applications Open for Study in US

The Fulbright Program is a prestigious international educational exchange initiative sponsored by the Government of the United States. It is managed by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan USEFP and offers fully funded opportunities for Pakistani students to pursue graduate-level education in the United States. Overview of the Fulbright Program

Under this program, scholarships are awarded for Master’s and, in selected fields, PhD studies at accredited US universities. The grant covers tuition fees, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance. All funding is provided through USEFP under an annual budget allocated specifically for the Fulbright Program.

Fields of Study Covered

The Fulbright Scholarship supports study in almost all academic disciplines. However, programs related to clinical medicine are not eligible. Priority fields include, but are not limited to:

Applicants from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, provided their chosen field is offered by a US institution and falls within the program’s guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Fulbright Graduate Scholarship 2027, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be Pakistani citizens who are residing in Pakistan throughout the application and selection process.

Dual nationals, including Pakistani-Americans, are not eligible to apply.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a US four-year bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education such as BS plus MS, MPhil, or equivalent 16 years of education is mandatory. In some cases, applicants with 18 years of education may be required.

A strong academic record is required.

Applicants must take the GRE General Test. A minimum score of 145 in the Verbal section and 146 in the Quantitative section is required.

Selected candidates will also be required to take the TOEFL test if applicable.

Candidates must be willing to return to Pakistan after completing their studies and contribute to national development.

Applicants must be prepared to complete their degree program without dependents accompanying them, if required.

Application Process

Interested candidates must apply through the official USEFP online application system. Applicants are required to:

Complete the online application form in full.
Upload all required documents, including academic transcripts and supporting materials.
Ensure that all information is accurate and complete before submission.

Paper-based applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. Incomplete or late submissions will also be rejected.
