FPSC Increases Online Application Fees for CSS Exams Across Pakistan
ISLAMABAD – The Federal Public Service Commission FPSC has officially announced a major revision in its competitive exam application fee structure, doubling the fees for all grades starting September 21, 2025.
This increase, approved by the Finance Division, applies to all candidates appearing in FPSC competitive examinations, including recruitment for civil service posts such as Grade 16, Grade 17, and higher-level government positions.
FPSC Revised Fee Structure 2025 – What Candidates Must Know
The new FPSC online application fees are as follows:
- Grade 16 & 17 entry-level positions:
Old Fee: Rs 300
New Fee: Rs 600
- Grade 18 mid-level positions, specialists:
Old Fee: Rs 750
New Fee: Rs 1,500
- Grade 19 senior officers like directors/deputy secretaries:
Old Fee: Rs 1,200
New Fee: Rs 2,500
- Grade 20 & Above top-tier bureaucratic posts:
Old Fee: Rs 1,500
New Fee: Rs 3,000
This 100% fee hike comes into effect for all applications submitted after September 21, meaning those planning to apply for future FPSC exams in 2025 and 2026, including CSS 2026, must follow the new payment structure.
This FPSC revised application fee 2025 update is part of broader reforms to digitize and improve the competitive examination process in Pakistan. As exam competition intensifies, staying informed and financially prepared is now more important than ever for all prospective civil servants.
