Foreign Degree Awarding Students Fail in PMDC Exams

Islamabad, It has been reported by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council that the students, who obtained the medical degrees from the foreign universities, were appeared in the exams conducted by PMDC. There were total 1696 students, who were appeared in the exams after getting their medical degrees from other countries and 400 students were declared fail in the exams.

According to PMDC sources, the national examination board conducted the step 2 exams under the PMDC and total 1696 students appeared in the step 2 exams out of which 1296 students were declared successful and 400 students were declared fail in the step 2 exams. according to the result of the step 2 exams, the rate of success of the students remained 76 percent and the rate of the failed students remained 24 percent.
