The Government of Pakistan, through the Federal Directorate of Education FDE, Islamabad, has announced admissions for the Matric Tech Program Session 2026–27 in its affiliated institutions. This initiative is designed under the vision of “Education with Skills”, aiming to equip students with both academic knowledge and practical technical expertise for a brighter future. Admissions are being offered in 32 educational institutions across Islamabad and surrounding areas, providing students with a unique opportunity to pursue skill-based education alongside traditional matriculation studies under the Federal Board FBISE.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have successfully completed Grade 8 or an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for admission in the Matric Tech program.

Important Note
Students who have passed Grade 8 from FDE institutions are not required to appear in an entry test
