Federal Board Revises HSSC Part I Schedule for 2026 Exams
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced an extension in the deadline for submitting online admission forms for the HSSC Part-I first annual examinations 2026. New Deadlines and Fee Structure Announced for First Year Candidates
According to an official notification issued on February 3, 2026, students can now submit their admission forms with the regular fee up to February 9, 2026. This extension provides additional time for candidates who were unable to meet the earlier deadline.
The Federal Board also shared an updated fee schedule for late submissions. Candidates who fail to apply within the normal period will be allowed to submit forms with a double fee from February 10 to February 17. After that, a final opportunity will be available from February 18 to February 24, during which forms will be accepted with a triple fee.
FBISE clarified that this announcement partially revises its previous notifications issued in January. Students and affiliated institutions have been advised to carefully follow the updated timeline to avoid paying additional charges.
Separately, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has proposed a tentative schedule for HSSC examinations 2026 across Punjab. According to the proposal, the first annual exams for Classes 11 and 12 are expected to begin from May 20, 2026.
The proposed plan also includes admission timelines for the first annual examinations, with single fee submissions from January 19 to February 11, double fee from February 12 to February 24, and triple fee from February 25 to March 9. The results are planned to be released in stages, with Class 12 results expected on September 23, 2026, followed by Class 11 on October 12, 2026.
For the second annual HSSC examinations, it has been suggested that exams may start on November 3, 2026. Admissions for these exams are expected to run from September 24 to October 17, while the result is tentatively scheduled for January 12, 2027.
