Federal Board Overseas Exam Delay 2026 Latest Update
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE has announced a possible change for the upcoming SSC 2026 examinations. Due to the current security situation in the Gulf region, the Gulf region exams for overseas centers may be delayed.
Originally, the FBISE SSC 2026 date sheet indicated that these exams were set to start on March 31, 2026. However, a recent FBISE notification 2026 suggests that a new schedule is being considered. If an exam rescheduling happens, the tests will likely take place after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Why is there a delay?
The board is monitoring geopolitical tensions to ensure student safety. FBISE Chairman Prof. Dr. Ikram Ali Malik stated that protecting students is the top priority. He confirmed that the FBISE overseas update is being shared with international schools and embassies to make the best decision for everyone involved.

For now, students in Pakistan are not affected; their exams will proceed as planned. Overseas students should stay prepared and check our educational portal for the final decision.
