FBISE Reschedules Postponed Overseas SSC Exams 2026

FBISE Reschedules Postponed Overseas SSC Exams 2026

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE has officially released the FBISE Overseas SSC Exam Schedule 2026 for papers that were previously postponed. According to the official notification issued on April 30, 2026, the Secondary School Certificate SSC Part-I annual examinations will now resume from May 5, 2026, in the United Arab Emirates UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

This announcement brings immense relief to thousands of Pakistani expatriate students whose academic timelines were disrupted by regional security concerns in March. For these students, the uncertainty of the past few weeks was a significant source of anxiety. Now, with a definitive exam update, candidates can pivot back to their final revisions with a clear goal in sight, ensuring they dont lose a valuable academic year.

Revised Dates for Gulf Region Centers

The FBISE had earlier suspended examinations specifically in Iran, Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain while continuing operations in other international centers. The new schedule focuses on stabilizing the examination process in these high-concentration areas.

Starting May 5, the board will conduct the remaining SSC Part-I papers. While the local schedule in Pakistan remains unaffected, overseas institutions have been instructed to align their logistics with the new federal board overseas schedule. Candidates are advised that further details regarding specific subject dates and center arrangements will be sent directly to their respective institutions.

Important Guidelines for Overseas Candidates

Due to the unique circumstances surrounding this official notification, the board has outlined several mandatory steps for students:
  1. Institutional Coordination: Students must stay in close contact with their school heads for the updated subject-wise date sheet.
  2. Roll Number Slips: New or updated roll number slips, if required, will be made available through the official website or directly through school portals.
  3. Alternative Arrangements: Students who had opted for alternative centers in Pakistan or nearby countries during the suspension period should confirm their final status with the board’s facilitation desk.
