FBISE May Reschedule 2026 SSC Exams in Gulf Countries
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad, has issued a crucial update for students residing in the Gulf region. Due to the Incidence of War and prevailing regional crises, the board is considering a potential change in the exam timeline. The FBISE Examinations Abroad, specifically the Secondary School Certificate SSC session of 2026, were originally set to begin on March 31, 2026.
However, the management is now closely monitoring the Regional Crises to ensure student safety. If the Security Situation does not improve, the board will be forced to postpone the exams for international centers. This decision comes as part of a proactive strategy to address the Prevailing Uncertainty that might affect students mental health and logistical arrangements.
Key Updates for International Students:
- Current Status: Exams are under review for rescheduling.
- Target Region: All Examination Centres Abroad, particularly in the Gulf.
- Postponement Strategy: Any new schedule will be finalized after Eid ul Fitr in consultation with stakeholders.
- Domestic Exams: Currently, no changes have been announced for local centers within Pakistan.
The board has assured all Key Stakeholders that their anxieties are being taken seriously. Efforts are being made to find the best Alternate Arrangements should government restrictions or logistics prevent the original schedule from proceeding. For now, students are advised to stay tuned to the official Federal Board channels for the final decision.
