FBISE Implements New Syllabus for Matric and Intermediate Students
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE has officially introduced a new syllabus, replacing the previous curriculum for matriculation and intermediate classes. The students can check the fresh updates of FBISE Implements New Syllabus for Matric and Intermediate Students.
According to an official notification, the updated syllabus will be implemented immediately in all educational institutions affiliated with the Federal Board. Schools and colleges have been instructed to download the revised syllabus from the FBISE official website and begin its adoption without delay.
Updated Curriculum Aligned with Modern Academic and IT Education Standards
The Federal Board FBISE stated that the new curriculum has been developed in accordance with modern academic requirements and will be enforced across all institutions under its jurisdiction nationwide.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of strengthening the IT sector and increasing IT-related exports as part of the government’s priorities. He urged provincial authorities to work collectively to ensure high-quality and standardized IT education and training.
The Prime Minister also directed the inclusion of Information Technology as a subject from grade six onward and called for the launch of IT training programs in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan.
He further highlighted the need to enhance IT education at all levels—schools, colleges, and universities—ensuring that training programs equip students with the skills required to secure meaningful employment. During a briefing, officials confirmed that internet connectivity in Islamabad’s schools is currently being upgraded to support these new educational initiatives.
